The properties of the HECO-TOPIX-plus flat head screw are designed entirely for structural timber construction. It has a larger head diameter and, thanks to this larger contact surface, can carry significantly higher loads than countersunk screws. At the same time, it significantly reduces the number of attachment points required. The partially threaded variant has shank ribs that reduce screwing torque and create a stress-free connection. The optimal thread pitch ensures easier and faster screwing. In addition, the patented HECO-TOPIX tip ensures a reduced splitting effect and enables fast screwing without pre-drilling or countersinking. The result: quick and safe assembly with up to 30 percent less processing effort.
